Camera & Recording

Status displays, recording control, media, frame rate, resolution, and connection widgets.

Recording

Record Record

Record toggle button with a live status indicator (Recording / Standby).

  • Config: button style (button with indicator, large button, or full widget).

Rec Lock Rec Lock

Locks record for the assigned camera. Acts as a toggle.

Recording formats

Shows current recording format.

Status widgets

Timecode Timecode

Displays the current timecode as HH:MM:SS:FF.

  • Config: show/hide camera letter, show/hide recording indicator.

Clip Name Clip Name

Shows the current clip filename being recorded, or the last recorded filename.

Camera Letter Camera Letter

Shows the camera identifier letter (A, B, AA, …) as assigned by the camera or overridden by the user.

Lock (widget) Lock

Performs the same function as the lock icon in the tab bar (locks the page), but can be placed anywhere on the grid.

Connection & networking

Connection Connection

Visual indicator of the camera's connection state.

  • States: green (connected), orange with pulse (connecting/reconnecting), red (disconnected/failed).
  • Config: show/hide camera letter, latency (ms), connection status, camera name.

Web GUI Web GUI

Opens the camera's built-in web interface in a browser, skipping the login screen.

Reconnect Reconnect

Drops and re-establishes the connection to the assigned camera with a single tap. Manual reconnection always works, even when Auto-connect is disabled for that camera in Settings → Cameras — useful when you'd rather control exactly when the app reaches out to a camera (see the Sony Venice connection notes for an example).

Reconnect All Reconnect All

Reconnects every configured camera at once. Unlike most widgets, it isn't tied to a camera assignment.

Media Info Media Info

Displays available media slots and remaining recording time. Supports a dual-slot configuration showing two slots at once, with a configurable low-media warning.

Using the example of a Sony Venice:

  • Slots: SxS A, SxS B, AXS A, AXS B.
  • Config: slot 1 selection; slot 2 enable/disable + selection; low-media warning threshold (off, 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes).
Platform-specific

Available media slot types and configurations depend on the camera. See Supported Cameras.

Frame Rate (FPS) Frame Rate

Shows the current frame rate, including variable frame rate when applicable.

  • Config: show/hide variable frame rate toggle; require confirmation before switching variable frame rate (off by default), show project base FPS (example: 24/24, 25/25, 60/24, and so on.)

Resolution Resolution

Displays the current video resolution. Tapping it opens the camera's resolution and recording settings.

  • Config: show/hide pixel dimensions.
