What to check when a camera won't connect or keeps dropping.
Camera won't connect
- Confirm the device and camera are on the same network/subnet.
- Verify the camera's IP address in Settings → Cameras.
- Re-enter the username/password (passwords are not restored from backups).
- Confirm the camera's network/control settings. See the hardware Camera Configurations.
Camera not discovered
- Add it manually by IP address. See Settings → Cameras.

Subnet based camera discovery is a work-in-progress and may not always work depending on your particular network configuration.
