Venice reverts white balance to a default after a power cycle, so bit.ctrl manages it across connections. The first time it connects to a Venice after launch, it reads and adopts the camera's current white balance. For every connection after that while the app is running, it instead restores the white balance you last set, returning the camera to your value. If you hold a value for about a minute, bit.ctrl also stores it as an on-camera preset, so the camera boots with the right white balance even when the app is not connected.

Playback Controls
The Venice 1 and 2 do not expose footage scrubbing controls in any way, so the fastest way to scroll through footage is to use the Jog Slider.
Poor Connection Crashes Camera
There have been noted instances of a camera crashing when a command is sent on a very poor connection. As best we can determine, this is caused when two commands are received and the camera is trying to reconnect rapidly. If this happens to you, we recommend the following steps:
- In bit.ctrl Camera Settings disable
Auto-connect. - Add a Reconnect widget to the page of the affected camera.
- If you lose connection, the app will no longer attempt to reconnect to the camera automatically. When it is back in range you can simply tap the Reconnect widget to regain control.
