Macros
Macros store and recall named sets of camera settings across one or more cameras. This page covers both the macro widgets and the full macro workflow.
Macros are a saved snapshot you recall on demand. If instead you want adjustments to one control to mirror across cameras live as you make them, see Link Groups.
Macro widgets
| Widget | What it does |
|---|---|
| Select Macro | Links to a named macro; tap to fire. When unlinked, tap to choose. Fires all cameras in the macro by default; when assigned to a specific camera, fires only that camera's entries. |
| Macro List | Scrollable list of all saved macros. Tap to fire; long-press / right-click for edit and delete. |
| Create Macro | Prompts for a name and captures current settings into a new macro. Captures the assigned camera only, or all connected cameras when unassigned. |
| Quick Preset | Captures the assigned camera's current settings into the quick slot. Requires a camera assignment. |
| Quick Preset All | Captures all connected cameras' settings into the quick slot. |
| Quick Apply | Applies the quick slot to the assigned camera. |
| Quick Apply All | Applies the quick slot to all cameras. |
Workflow
Creating macros
From Settings → Macros or the Create Macro widget:
- Capture Current Settings: snapshot live camera values.
- Build from Scratch: set values manually.
Editing macros
The macro editor lets you adjust EI, shutter, ND, white balance, and frame rate per camera. Toggle Live Edit to preview changes on the cameras in real time.
Property groups
Choose which settings a macro includes: Exposure, Shutter, ND Filter, White Balance, Frame Rate, Recording.
Firing macros
- The Macro List widget.
- The Quick Launch sheet (command button in the tab bar).
- A linked Select Macro widget.
Quick Preset / Quick Apply
Rapid save and recall using a single quick slot: Quick Preset saves, Quick Apply recalls. Each is available in per-camera and all-cameras variants.
Camera management within a macro
Add or remove cameras from a macro at any time, and copy settings between cameras inside the same macro.
Export / Import
Macros have their own export format, separate from app settings. When importing on a different device, a camera-remapping UI helps reassign cameras.
