Multi-Camera

bit.ctrl can configure and control multiple cameras simultaneously, with flexible assignment so a single layout can drive a whole set of cameras.

Camera assignment

  • Per-tab default camera: assign a camera to a tab so all of the widgets on that tab target it by default. See Tabs & Layouts.
  • Per-widget override: any widget can target a specific camera, enabling mixed-camera layouts on a single page.

Identifying cameras

Cameras are identified by letter (A, B, AA, …), name, and color. Letter and color are detected automatically where the protocol supports it, and can be overridden in Settings → Cameras.

Discovery

bit.ctrl scans the local subnet to discover cameras. Cameras can also be added manually by IP address. See Settings → Cameras.

Linked control

Several controls can drive multiple cameras at once. Use Link Groups to mirror live adjustments across cameras, Macros to recall a saved setup, or Companion to target multiple cameras from a control surface.
