Status Lights

The bitbox is equipped with several status lights that serve the following functions.

Power​

An amber LED indicates that the bitbox is powered.

Signal Strength​

In normal operation, the three white status LEDs display signal strength.

Additionally, there is a fourth status LED behind the mode select switch. It is illuminated solid when any radio is connected, even if your signal is too weak for the status LEDs to indicate.

Radio Mode​

As the bitbox boots, the status LEDs chase to indicate the radio mode.

tip
  • Left to right (away from antenna): base mode
  • Right to left (toward antenna): remote mode

Factory Reset​

The status LEDs flash three times to indicate that a factory reset has been performed and the system configuration has been cleared.
