Pairing bitbox

Pairing Procedure

  1. Power on all radios to be paired, ensure antennas are tight.
  2. Place one radio in base mode and up to 11 others in remote mode.
  3. Hold down the pairing button on the base radio.
  4. Click pairing button on remote radios one at a time.
  5. Confirm pairing with status LEDs.

Troubleshooting

No devices pair with base radio

  1. Confirm the radio is in base mode by checking the status LEDs at boot. The LEDs should chase left to right, away from the antenna.
  2. Check that the antenna is tight. A loose antenna can cause pairing issues.
  3. Perform a factory reset. The system configuration data may be corrupted—a factory reset will clear all previous pairing data.

Single device won't pair

note

In this scenario the issue is likely with the individual radio that will not pair.

  1. Bring the remote radio close to the base radio to eliminate any interference issues.
  2. Confirm the radio is in remote mode. The status LEDs should chase right to left, toward the antenna.
  3. Check that the antenna is tight.
  4. Factory reset the remote radio.
  5. Factory reset the base radio. This should be a last resort as it will clear all other pairings and require re-pairing the entire system.
